HealthPlus Medicare Advantage plan top-ranked

FLINT — HealthPlus of Michigan’s Medicare HMO-POS (health maintenance organization — point of service) plan is the highest-ranked Medicare plan in the state (and No. 21 nationally) according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2011-12 – Medicare according to rankings released by NCQA last month. The same organization has awarded the HealthPlus Medicare HMO-POS plan “Excellent” accreditation status. In addition, member satisfaction with HealthPlus’ Medicare HMO-POS plan is rated 5 out of 5 stars in the printed Medicare & You Handbook that is mailed to all Medicare beneficiaries, and the plan received an received an overall rating of 4.5 out 5 stars on the federal government’s Medicare website, www.medicare. gov. FLINT — Women2Women Michigan is about women connecting with women for good, for fun, for encouragement, and for support. W2W is an eventdriven business that produces weekend getaways, expos, shopping trips, network nights, seminars, workshops, road trips, retreats, and other event marketing which also publishes a quarterly magazine filled with great information for Michigan women. The event will be held Nov. 4 from noon-8 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the IINN Conference Center (Hemphill & S. Saginaw Road: South end of the Great Lakes Tech Center). There will be: educational speakers, how to workshops, author’s corner, fashion show, photo booth, pampering, shopping prizes and more.
